Trailblazer of the Year
Winnner: Teniel Campbell
As the first Black woman to complete the 2023 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift and part of the WorldTour roster, Teniel Campbell is changing the cycling game. That’s exactly why she’s earned Strava’s Trailblazer of the Year Award.
Activity of the Year
Winnner: Hillary Gerardi
Hillary Gerardi's Fastest Known Time on Mont Blanc earned worldwide plaudits for many reasons: her speed, her technical prowess, and her patience to wait a number of years before conditions on the mountain opened the 'right' window to the summit.
Endurance Athlete of the Year
Winnner: Deo Kato
When Deo Kato set out from Cape Town in July, he was embarking on a truly epic endurance challenge: running from Cape Town to London. It’s no wonder that he has been crowned the Endurance Athlete of the Year.
Crown Collector of the Year
Winnner: Annemiek van Vleuten
Pro cyclist Annemiek van Vleuten not only conquered a legendary number of gold medals during her career but also snagged more Strava segment records than we can count – earning her the prestigious title of Strava’s Crown Collector of the Year.
Artist of the Year
Winnner: Frédéric & Mathilde de Lanouvelle
Frédéric de Lanouvelle and his daughter Mathilde transformed Strava into a canvas, earning them the coveted Artist of the Year award. Their activity wasn't just a ride; it was a masterpiece – a 2,162km heart-shaped GPS drawing across France.
Team of the Year
Winnner: Team Jumbo Visma
Team Jumbo-Visma dominated professional cycling this year, pulling off a men's Grand Tour hat trick and impressing at La Vuelta Femenina. They racked up a mind-blowing 70 victories in 2023...as well as Strava's Team of the Year crown.

Black to the Trails – hosted by Black Trail Runners – earns the title of Strava's Event of the Year. In its inaugural year, Black to the Trails was a sold out event that helped to set a new benchmark for the future of trail running.
