Introducing: Strava Metro for Academic Researchers 🤓

Multisport

Calling all urban planning, active transportation, and outdoor recreation scholars! Strava Metro is launching a new grant program just for academic researchers and college and university students working on projects that improve human-powered transport in their communities, both urban and rural.

In case you forgot, Strava Metro aggregates and de-identifies public activities, and turns it into valuable insights that help community planners create safer roads, trails, and bike lanes for all.

We provide Strava Metro free of charge to qualified organizations. And now, through this new program for academic researchers, we’re extending this resource to the research community so that they have the opportunity to further research projects that drive (car-free, of course 👀) the innovation that keeps your community moving.

The Strava Metro for Academics application is open now through mid-October. Apply at https://metro.strava.com/academics.

Not an academic but still want to contribute to the Strava Metro mission of making your community better for human-powered transport? Just keep moving! Every public upload and follower activity you share helps Strava Metro and partnered organizations understand how people move, commute and live in their community.
