Key Takeaways
adiClub members in the US and Canada can now earn adiClub points for GPS-tracked runs, walks, hikes, and rides logged on Strava.
Your time outside now has a tangible reward attached — no extra steps, just move.
Points redeem for adidas gear, access to events and giveaways, Strava subscriptions and more.
adidas will promote to their full US adiClub database at launch.
Summer has a way of making the decision for you. The days are longer, the weather is (mostly) cooperating, and the routes you've been saving are finally calling. Strava users are already out there, logging runs, rides, hikes, and walks at the rate of one hour outside for every two minutes on the app. That time outside has always been the point. Now it comes with something extra.
adidas and Strava are teaming up to reward the miles you're already logging. adiClub members in the US and Canada can connect their accounts and start earning points for every GPS-tracked run, walk, hike, or ride, redeemable for adidas gear, discount vouchers, or a Strava subscription. No extra steps. Just move.
“This program is all about celebrating and rewarding adiClub members, honoring the dedication it takes to stay active every day with Strava,” said Zaryn Jennings, VP of Global Membership at adidas. “The ability to earn points, through staying active, can give members an extra boost of motivation to get out the door and keep moving.”
Points add up to redeem toward adidas gear, event access or giveaways, a Strava subscription and more. A 60-day trial unlocks at 1,200 points, a full year at 15,000. The hardest part is just getting out the door.
That's where the challenges come in.
The partnership also includes a series of adidas Challenges on Strava throughout the summer and fall, giving athletes new ways to stay motivated, connect with their community, and earn rewards. The first challenge, Hyperboost Everyday Energy, encourages athletes to stay active for at least 10 days during the challenge period for a chance to win a pair of the new adidas Hyperboost Edge and a $1,000 adidas gift card. Five additional winners will also receive a pair of Hyperboost Edge. Future challenges will celebrate community running this summer and race season this fall. Athletes can find all adidas Challenges in the Strava app under Groups > Challenges when they go live.
Both challenges live in the Strava app under the Groups tab when live. You can also join the adidas club on strava here: https://www.strava.com/clubs/1432394
